A perfectionist at heart, i’ve always strived for success in every level from a young age to now as a working professional. Endless nights working away until I’m truly satisfied with results - something I’ll never been entirely pleased with but I’ll try at least.
Consumed with thoughts of work, the true realisation of this global pandemic hit home then I fell hard... something I’ve never experienced but needed - reflection is important in all aspects of life and I will truly take this time to value the small things, things we take for granted and fundamentally the key is to enjoy life and not be obsessed with work targets. Live for the moment, live for the now. No ifs or buts.
If I can take one thing from my personal experience, it will be value your mental well-being, value human-beings, our environment.
We have one earth, one life let’s do our best to restore humanity and lead by example as role models for the future. We have the power to make change and we must act moving forward, it’s too easy to think this doesn’t apply to me but it does and we mustn’t take that for granted.
